The RoseCraft Tanasi Lake Tear Drop Dapper Jigged Bone is a one-bladed slip joint that features a 7.1cm (2.8″) 14C28N spear point blade with heavy swedging, a half stop, a long pull and a brushed satin finish. The covers are hand-jigged Blue Jigged Bone, with brushed steel bolsters, steel liners, nickel silver pins, and the stainless steel Diamond shield. Designed by Andy Armstrong.

First and foremost, Rosecraft customers asked for a stainless steel, and 14C28N fit that bill perfectly. It’s a stainless steel with high corrosion resistance which means you don’t have to be as careful about getting it completely dry like you might with D2. It also takes a very sharp edge and is easier to sharpen than other carbon steels.

Bone is a natural handle material that varies in texture, pattern, and natural coloring. Every bone handled knife will look different, because bone isn’t identical. RoseCraft don’t use dye to cover up the natural beauty of the bone in the handle. They use it to accentuate that natural beauty, and this may cause lighter or darker areas where the bone is hafted into the front bolster. This is part of what makes your knife unique.
