Designed by Jean Bertholle in 1952 at the request of French President René Coty, this distinguished piece from the Rambouillet collection showcases finely detailed animal scenes set against a leafy brown background. Created to furnish the prestigious residences used during the Presidential Hunts at Rambouillet, each piece is hand painted at the renowned Gien Faience Factory in the Loire Valley. Adding to its authenticity and charm, every item bears the initials of the artisan who painted it on the reverse—making each example truly unique.
