Installation Pro-Tip:

For the RT12X9I, which is wider than it is long (12″ wide x 9″ long), ensure you have enough horizontal flat surface on your transom. This “wide-span” configuration is excellent for boats that need a lot of lift at lower speeds. When installing, use a high-quality marine sealant like 3M 5200 on all screw holes and where the actuator wire passes through the transom to ensure a permanent, watertight seal.
