At just 5.8cm long when closed and weighing in at a mere 5g this tiny folder with removable scalpel blades is a tiny, but excellent blade. Despite this impressive state of affairs the Klarus S1 Ti-Scal is surprisingly easy to manoeuvre and use effectively.

The quality is right up there too. The handle is made from medical grade TC4 Titanium, that’s the kind of titanium a surgeon would use for a bone implant or NASA use for their aeronautics research. It won’t rust, is light in weight and has a high tensile strength.

The No 11 scalpel blade folds away neatly into the handle and opens unlocked making it legal to carry within the UK. It has a handy hole in the handle to accommodate a neck chain.
