The KB Knives Jarpen, designed by Kot Knives, is a compact folder that pairs high-end materials with a straightforward, user-focused design.

Its 6.0 cm drop point blade is made from CPM S90V stainless steel, vacuum and cryogenically treated to 60–62 HRC. This steel is chosen for its outstanding edge retention and wear resistance, making it ideal for regular cutting tasks without constant maintenance. The hand-rubbed satin finish keeps things clean and practical, while the flat grind delivers efficient, controlled slicing.

The titanium handle features a flame anodised finish, adding subtle variation and texture without overcomplicating things. A crossbar lock keeps operation fully ambidextrous and secure, while phosphor bronze washers provide a smooth, dependable action. At just 88g, it’s a superb option that’s pocket friendly.
