The Berget is Helle’s first production model with Micarta handle scales, and it shows what the Norwegian maker can do when it steps away from birch. The 55mm 12C27 blade is Scandi-ground and drop-point shaped – exactly right for camp tasks, food prep, and everyday outdoor use. The back lock is firm and positive, giving the knife the feel of a fixed blade when deployed. At 88g it’s light enough to forget it’s there. Handmade in Holmedal, Norway, and named for the Heileberget mountain range that overlooks Helle’s home fjord.
