Blade steel is now Elmax steel.  Elmax steel is excellent for knives because it offers a rare balance of high edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness, thanks to its powder metallurgy structure and high chromium content. This results in a blade that stays sharp for a long time, resists rust, and is less prone to chipping compared to many other high-hardness steels.

The TK3 is a secure, solid folding knife, whose blade, in the new 3G steel, represents the best on the market today. The blade locks in its open position with a well-proven locking mechanism, the back lock. Every folding knife is manufactured by hand, which should and does mean small naturally occuring variations.
